Chile

Luxury hotel reviews, travel guides, and stories.

Chile feels like a land of beautiful contradictions, where rugged landscapes meet sophisticated urban charm. During our time exploring the heart of the country, we were struck by how much history is woven into the streets of Santiago. It’s a place that manages to feel both grand and intimate, offering a sense of discovery that stays with you long after you've left.

We especially loved the unique character of our accommodations in the capital. Castillo Rojo, Santiago felt like stepping back in time; its gothic architecture is incredibly charming and provides a stunning home base for exploring the city. For something more contemporary, Singular Hotel Santiago captured our hearts with its quirky style and exceptionally helpful staff. Both spots gave us that perfect balance of local flavor and high-end comfort we always look for when planning our escapes.

About No Destinations

No Destinations is the travel blog of Chris & Danika Garlotta. In 2014, we quit our jobs, sold everything, rented out our house in San Francisco, and boarded a one-way flight to Europe. That decision turned into four years traveling the world full-time, visiting over 250 destinations and sharing our favorites hotels, restaurants, cruises, and experiences along the way.
