Copenhagen’s fine dining doesn’t take itself as seriously as the Michelin stars suggest. Restaurant Clou has a Star Wars figurine sitting on the shelf by the entrance, Motown playing, and a room that feels more like a friend’s living room than a formal dining room. AOC served us a mini baked potato wrapped in hay and hard clay that had to be cracked open at the table — more theater than food, but one of the best bites of the trip.
Tivoli Gardens is the second-oldest amusement park in the world and still the most visited in Scandinavia. And WarPigs pairs one of the city’s best breweries with genuinely good Texas barbecue, which is not a combination we expected to find in Copenhagen.
