Vancouver
,
Canada
Thanks to its wonderful natural setting and its modern architecture, Vancouver is a beautiful city. Everywhere you look are mountains, forests and waterways, and the air just seems to smell so different - it’s fresh :) I can now understand why it’s consistently ranked as one of the most livable cities, in the world...It also might have something to do with how nice Canadians are. So when Expedia.ca asked us to come up with our favorite things to do, it was an easy task. As you can see I have a little love affair with Vancouver.
Vancouver is so more than just a nice place, it is packed full of interesting and exciting things to do. You have the usual, restaurant and bar scene, which you would expect from a big city (although Vancouver does them as well if not better than many of its rivals) and others are more quirky and help give the city its unique charm.

Thailand
There is no question about it, Thailand is one of our absolute favorite countries to visit. If you’re looking for somewhere tropical, relaxed and has amazing food, you'll find it hard to pick somewhere more idyllic and relaxed. Whether you are staying in a tranquil Thailand beach villa, or a hotel suite in a high rise Bangkok hotel, there are possibilities that will please everyone. The country is home to a variety to landscapes and climates, and it does each one exceeding well.
You can find crystal clear blue waters and blinding white sand running around the edge of places like Phuket and Koh Phi Phi, just two of its many spectacular islands - trust me, these beaches need to been seen to be believed. If you want something different you can experience the bustling chaos of Bangkok, or alternatively climb up into the cooler mountains in the north. Here you will find peaceful jungles, rich spirituality and picturesque views. Wherever you go, you will find yourself charmed by the ancient and mysterious culture, the delicious food and the welcoming locals.
We have been to Thailand a few times now, and have pretty much created a routine for ourselves. We usually fly into Bangkok and stay for a few days. After that, it is off to a dreamy beach getaway on one of the many islands. With so much to offer it can be hard to narrow things down. With that in mind, here are our top five destinations in Thailand that you have to visit.
“Whenever we decide to choose a tropical destination for our next adventure, Thailand is the first place that comes to mind.”
